Today’s topic is sensitive because it involves extreme pain, physical and spiritual pain; the kinds of pain that often lead to Suicide. We are going take a look at the life and journey of Patty Blue Hayes and her book Wine, Sex and Suicide: My Near-Death Divorce is inspirational. The book is a journal of the dark days and nights chronicling the end of her marriage. Dr. Lycka talks to Patty about how she was able to rise out of despair and begin leading a fantastic life.

Patty is a writer on a journey. She considers herself part life-adventurer, part homebody. One hundred percent grateful to be living a life aligned with her values. She lives in Panama, has worked in Romania and once took an 8 month RV trip across the United States.
